Using Echo Avatar, you:
can temporarily transfer your consciousness to your echo. As anaction, you can see through your echo's eyes and hear through itsears. During this time, you are deafened and blinded
It seems to contradict itself slightly as I'd imagine "Transferring you consciousness" to affect more than sight and hearing.
But RAW, it would seem that you can still move and function normally in your own body, while controlling the image, as usual, and the only difference is the origin of your sight and hearing (and the other effects like distance).
Going with this, if the fighter is standing next to someone while blinded, could he use Echo Avatar to see with his nearby Echo – assuming it has line of sight with the enemy – but make the attack himself?
And if the scenario was that the fighter is in magical darkness, the target 5ft away is outside the darkness, and the image 15ft away outside the darkness, can the fighter use Echo Avatar to see the enemy, and make an attack at advantage for being unseen?
Or am I wrong in assuming you can move while using it, and it's a pure scouting tool?
